Official Partner of the PDC

Dart Players New Zealand is the official partner of the PDC in New Zealand.  We are able to provide numerous opportunities for players to get to compete on the World Stage both overseas and locally in New Zealand.

2026 Provides Opportunities Galore....

More incentives, more opportunities and yet another reason to compete.  This is what competing in the DPNZ is about: - earn your ranking and create your own opportunities.

DPNZ is raising the bar again, with thanks to the PDC

  • The entire top 8 ranked DPNZ players will receive Q School Invites with free entry

  • The top 8 ranked players will be invited to the World Masters Preliminary Rounds

  • Increased prize pool of over $60,000 – we will now pay out to the last 32 ($5,090.00 per event)

  • 1 x place in the World Dart Championship for the DPNZ Tour Winner (top ranked player)

  • Up to 3 x places in the World Youth Championship for top 3 x age-eligible players from the DPNZ Tour Rankings

  • Up to 7 x places in New Zealand Darts Masters, subject to the number of Oceanic PDC Tour Card Holders (no play offs for these from 2026, it will be taken off the DPNZ Rankings at the end of Pro Tour 10 5th July 2026)

  • 1 x place in Australian Darts Masters (to qualify for this play off you must have competed in at least 6 DPNZ Pro Tour Events for the 2026 season)

  • 2 x places in ANZ Premier League (top 2 DPNZ Ranked Players at the end of 2026 Season)

  • World Cup Team Selection as follows – place(s) from the DPNZ Ranking.  Rankings for the World Cup is the last 6 events of 2025 and the first 6 events of 2026.  This will remain as points for the first half of 2026.  For the second part of 2026 onwards, the ranking will be via monetary earnings.

  • Rankings will be prize money based for 2026 onwards to stay in line with the PDC

  • For 2026 we will be continuing with Section Play best of 7 legs, Sections of 5, 2 wins to progress to knockouts and Sections of 6 3 wins to progress to knockouts.

  • Seedings will be allocated across Sections in Section Play.

  • Seedings for 2026 will be a moving table

  • Registration for events will be through Dart Connect Reg Connect (entries will still be taken on the day of the event)

  • Our tours will run separately this year, with Australian players (and those eligible for the ADA under PDC Rule 7.6) playing in the ADA and the DPNZ for New Zealand players and those eligible under PDC Rule 7.6. PDC allowed the ADA to open up last year to all players from across the region, but they have now replaced DPA as the PDC Australian Affiliate.

  • There will be no Top 16 play off from this year onward, but it is in your best interest to play the whole year as the last two DPNZ Pro Tour Events for 2026, the points will count as Event 1 & 2 for 2027.
